Oh hell yes, you spotted well! Zooey Deschanel & Joseph Gordon Levitt singing a (damn cute!) duet about new years eve.
As the end of the year approaches I always tend to get a tad bit nostalgic. Actually, 2011 has been a horrid year. Sure, I know, good things have happened, and new friends have been made… but the core of this year has been bugger. Good heavens, so much has happened! I would like to change a lot of things in the new year, the magical, golden 2012. The year we all might die because of what the Maya’s predicted. The year everything still can go wrong. The year we won’t know what will happen because it’s all in front of us.
I might start out this year with a new haircut, I might finally start on time with studying for my exams, I might go to Paris in a few weeks because of my course. I might even buy myself a fuji instax! I might enjoy this year to the fullest, and I think I am going to. 2012 will be the year of positive thinking, the year of no complaining, the year everything is possible. Because surely, why not? So… are you with me?
Here’s to new year’s resolutions. To a great new year. I raise my, now imaginary (bear with me), glass of Champagne to you all. I hope the year will bring lots of new experiences, good memories and great stories to tell to our grandchildren when we’re old and grey. I hope all of you will be okay, I really do. I hope we can all make new friends, remain the old ones, see new movies, hear new songs, eat (new) food, and take a walk in the park.
Enjoy your new year’s eve, and I’ll be seeing you in 2012!
