La Douce France

I know, I said I’d make tons of pictures, but I didn’t. Quel dommage. But nonetheless, I think you can tell I had a wonderful time in Paris. I ate in wonderful restaurants, (Aki, Rue Saint-Anne has brilliant okonomiyaki), got myself some more stripes at Uniqlo, and hurt my feet from all the walking.

The places I’ve visited were Centre Pompidou, Unesco, musée du Quai Branly, the Louvre, musée d’Orsay (which was stunning because they had all the works I adore from Pisarro, Monet, Van Gogh, Seurat, Signac and so many more), l’Opera, les Champs Elysées, musée de l’Histoire Naturelle, the Notre Dame, Palais du Justice, la Gaîté Lyrique, Jardin Tropical, Cité Nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration… and I think I’ve maybe even forgot to mention some places. Not everywhere I was able to photograph, mainly because it was prohibited, and I also just wanted to let everything sink in. I want to go back so bad.

But mind you, another post full of objects and art from museums and curiosity cabinets will come up.
